Here's a few tips for the composition of black MIDIs.

1. Don't spam/duplicate tracks. It takes away from the quality of the sound and the song ends up sounding horrible.

2.  Find unique ways to produce sound. Experiment with the sounds you can make with the MIDI piano, and maybe you can compose something special.

3. Don't use too many octaves in the melody. The melody should not be played simultaneously on many octaves. It takes away from the melody sometimes.

4. Feel free to mute tracks. If you have any tracks that would ruin the melody, feel free to mute them. (Keep in mind all tracks in one channel will have the same volume.)

5. Add art to your MIDIs. Mute tracks and make pixel art or something that will visually appeal to others.

6. Don't steal from other black MIDIs. Don't steal tracks or art from other black MIDIs. If you would like to use someone else's art or tracks, please ask them first.

7. Try to make your black MIDIs playable on most computers. Many people want to try playing black MIDIs on their computers. Unless you aren't going to share any of you black MIDIs, I would make them mostly playable to a lot of computers.

8. Balance quality and quantity. Try your best to balance these two together, by increasing the quantity while still keeping the quality good.

9. Don't rush black MIDIs. Take your time when composing them, they can take a while to make.

10. Don't get frustrated, keep calm, and be patient. Sometimes something may happen and the black MIDI will go wrong, or it will not export. It is completely fine, you should not get upset over it. If you can make a large black MIDI you should be patient when exporting it to a MIDI, it can take a while. Maybe you can get a friend to export it.

That's all I have for this guide.
